"Primary schools sports funding is used well. Pupils enjoy sharpening their techniques and staff develop new skills. Activities provide opportunities for pupils to participate in a range of different sports and to represent the school in competitive games. Fitness lessons support events such as ‘healthy living week’, when pupils learn life skills such as how to make a healthy packed lunch".

Our P.E. Leader is Hollie Watson.
We employ a qualified sports coach who works with all the children in the school. Our sporting aims are to provide children with a balanced range of activities and the opportunity to develop these in more specialist clubs. Each week our children work on at least one area of the physical curriculum. Dance and gymnastics take place in the school hall. Through dance and movement, they learn how to express themselves whilst being able to work at their own level. Gymnastics, involves learning how to use equipment safely and acquire, develop and gain new skills. Games, sports and adventurous activities take place outside, and children learn a variety of skills that are developed into small games and team building situations.
On the 25.4.18 we took our netball team to Stanborough School to take part in a 7-a-side Netball competition. The team played fantastically throughout the competition, improving after each match they played. Unfortunately, they just missed out on advancing to the semi-finals, but they showed great sportsmanship and teamwork. Well done to all involved.
