Hello Birch Class,
We hope that you are all doing well and are staying safe at home. We know that this is a confusing and difficult time for you and your families but remember to stay positive and talk to your trusted adults on your hand of 5 if you are feeling worried.
As we cannot be together learning at school, we will be updating our class page and tapestry with lots of ideas and resources for you to keep busy at home. Keep checking it regularly.
Upload any work you complete to tapestry so I can have a look at it.
We have no doubt you are continuing to show all of our Peartree values at home – keep it up!
Take care of yourselves and remember to put your rainbows up in your window.
**Check out our class blog. I will be adding some stories, activities and pictures. Don't forget to comment on what you have been up to too! https://misskibble.edublogs.org/**
Welcome to Year 1
The adults in Year 1 are:
Miss Kibble (Class Teacher)
Mrs O'Donoghue (Learning Assistant)
What an exciting year we have ahead of us. Keep checking back to see what the children of Birch class have been up to.
-Forest school will take place on Fridays so please ensure you child has a pair of wellies, a long sleeved top or jacket and a full length pair of trousers or leggings every Friday.
-PE is on Tuesdays, children will need a full kit to participate.
-Homework is given out every Wednesday to be returned either weekly (maths and phonics) or two weekly (topic) on a Monday.
-Reading is so important especially at this crucial time in year 1. Please ensure that your child is reading at least three times a week but ideally they should be reading or be read to every day. Children will earn stickers every time they read to move up the reading rainbow so please sign in the reading record each time.
