Our choir leader is Debbie Phillips.

Autumn Term: Choir have been out and about singing again; visiting Home Meadow and Verulam Sheltered housing where they entertained the residents with some Christmas songs.

Spring Term: We have been busy rehearsing our songs for  Peartree's  "We Love Life" Music concerts, and preparing for the upcoming Welwyn Music Festival.

Peartree choir had a busy year  with local performances, Christmas songs at Home Meadow and singing for the Mayor at the Peartree Funday at Woodhall community centre.

The local paper wrote:

More than 250 residents thronged to the annual Peartree Fun Day for a fun-filled get-together over the weekend.

Visitors basked in the sunshine on Saturday while enjoying a plethora of games, stalls, entertainment and sports. Among the performers were the Peartree Primary School Choir, polish musicians Remi and Falko and tea dancers, and there was also a Boditrax machine, art exhibition and face painting. Michal Siewniak, who helped organise the event, said: “Peartree Fun Day is always such a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together.

The highlight of our year was when senior choir members got to perform at the Hertfordshire Schools' Music Gala at the Royal Albert Hall on 11th March 2018. Choir has about fifty members from Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 who practise at Wednesday break times.
