"Primary schools sports funding is used well. Pupils enjoy sharpening their techniques and staff develop new skills. Activities provide opportunities for pupils to participate in a range of different sports and to represent the school in competitive games. Fitness lessons support events such as ‘healthy living week’, when pupils learn life skills such as how to make a healthy packed lunch".

We are athletes. We are gymnasts. We are coaches.
At Peartree Primary School, we inspire pupils to succeed in all areas of sport and physical activities. We aim to give pupils the knowledge, confidence and motivation that establishes a commitment to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. The school offers a broad range of sporting opportunities both within the curriculum as well as through our extensive extra-curricular activities.
This aligns with the H and O of our curriculum intentions (see Curriculum page).
We employ a qualified sports coach, who works with all the children in the school.
